What is CHAGA?
WHAT EXACTLY IS CHAGA?
CHAGA (Inonotus Obliquus) is a remarkable medicinal mushroom that grows on living trees. It grows most abundantly in nearly all species of birch found in the circumpolar temperate forests of Earth's northern hemisphere. As early as 4500 years ago, this forest cure was named "A Gift from God" as well as "King of the Herbs."
Early Chinese practitioners used CHAGA for decontamination of the body as well to support immune function. It was also known by these ancients that CHAGA contributes to longevity. CHAGA was approved for public use against cancer by the Medical Academy of Science in Moscow in 1955.
